TU420, the Dave Whitlock Chapter of Trout Unlimited in Tulsa, Oklahoma, is dedicated to the preservation, restoration, and responsible management of our local trout and freshwater ecosystems.
Our mission is to promote conservation, education, and community engagement to ensure the long-term health and vitality of these precious natural resources.
It doesn’t matter what experience you have when it comes to fly fishing. We have a great group of members from all stages of experience and they enjoy helping others learn the sport, educate, and share their passion for conservation. Come join us!

Students raise salmonids from egg to fingerling right in their classrooms, then personally release them into the Lower Illinois River, building a deep conservation ethic along the way.

All skill levels welcomeTIC was a new experience for me and my students this year. It was definitely a learning experience at that!
My students actively monitored the water quality and took ownership of the fish themselves. This program provided an excellent, inclusive, hands-on learning opportunity. I’m looking forward to hosting trout in my classroom again next year.
